We are proud to operate ethically including the providing meaningful opportunities to our staff, our commitment to community services and human rights, the reduction of our guest house’s footprint including our use of solar power and our support of the 2 worthwhile organisations below.
We encourage guests who would like to contribute meaningfully to have a look at these organisations.
Mummy's Angels Zimbabwe

Mummy’s Angels Zimbabwe is a charitable trust that helps mothers and babies in need by distributing second-hand, leftover and donated baby goods (clothes, toys, excess nappies, bum cream or even maternity pads etc). They donate hampers to help a select few mothers in need at Victoria Falls Hospital and Chinotimba Clinic who have nothing at all. The hospitals let them know when they receive mothers in need and they oversee all deliveries ensuring the items get to the person they are intended for.

LIST OF NECESSITIES

•Aqueous cream, bum cream, soap, baby wipes etc

•Formula- which Mummy’s Angels provides for the first year of life in cases where the mother has sadly passed away.

•Any excess nappies left over or any cloth nappies/safety pins or plastic ‘snappies’.

•Baby clothes of any age

•Baby blankets

•Baby bags

•Face clothes and towels

•Maternity pads

•Older children’s items and clothing- the paediatric ward also call us from time to time and we will be making follow up donations to the most needy.

•This is not an exact list- a pair of old slippers can be a wonderful luxury for a new mom and a gently used toy can bring much joy.

You can contact them via email or download a list of items they are in need of here.
